Welcome Weekend and Move In
Move in is on Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Residential students are required to check-in during this time. Please do not arrive before 10 a.m.
Be sure to bring your government-issued photo ID (Drivers License or Passport - not a Student ID) with you and have it ready at check-in. You will not be able to receive your Stanford ID Card, which acts as an electronic key enabling you to use services and to enter and exit facilities, unless you have your government-issued photo ID.
International Students: In addition, please bring a paper or digital copy of your I-94 and have it ready for check-in. Your I-94 is available here after you enter the United States.
All family members are invited to stay for the welcome activities on Saturday, however, this isn’t necessary. Many students arrive on their own. A welcome lunch will be served from 11:30 p.m – 2 p.m. Welcome sessions are scheduled at 3 p.m. followed by family goodbyes at 5 p.m. Orientations are planned for you on Saturday evening and all-day Sunday that will help you prepare for your summer at Stanford.

We need to be aware of all students who will arrive after normal check-in. If you plan to arrive after 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th please fill out this form. We prefer students arrive before 3 p.m. because they will miss out on welcome activities, however, we understand that sometimes it is not possible with flights. Students must arrive by 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 25th.
Change in Plans?
Students sometimes assume that not arriving for High School Summer College will automatically cancel them in Stanford’s system. This is not true. Charges will accrue for students who do not formally notify our staff that they are unable to attend the program. Although we hope that nobody is in this situation, now is the time to let us know if you will not be joining us for the summer. To cancel attendance, please submit an Annulment of Summer Registration Form. You may email the completed form to email@example.com with the subject line “CHANGE IN PLANS.” After receiving the form, the office staff will respond with additional steps to take to fully cancel you from the program.
