Check-In and Welcome Weekend Activities
Check-in is on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Be sure to bring your government-issued photo ID (Drivers License or Passport - not a Student ID) and with you and have it ready at check-in. You will not be able to receive your Stanford ID Card, which acts as an electronic key enabling you to use services and to enter and exit facilities, unless you have your government-issued photo ID.
International Students: In addition, please bring a paper or digital copy of your I-94 and have it ready for check-in. Your I-94 is available here after you enter the United States.
All family members are invited to stay for the welcome activities on Saturday, however, this isn't necessary. Many students arrive on their own. A welcome lunch will be served from 12 p.m - 2 p.m. Welcome sessions are scheduled at 3:30 p.m. finishing at 5 p.m. Orientations and workshops are planned for you on Sunday from 2 - 5 pm at Florence Moore that will help you prepare for your summer at Stanford. Change in Plans?
Students sometimes assume that not arriving for High School Summer College will automatically cancel them in Stanford’s system. This is not true. Charges will accrue for students who do not formally notify our staff that they are unable to attend the program. Although we hope that nobody is in this situation, now is the time to let us know if you will not be joining us for the summer. To cancel attendance, please submit an Annulment of Summer Registration Form. You may email the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “CHANGE IN PLANS.” After receiving the form, the office staff will respond with additional steps to take to fully cancel you from the program.
